JDK and I decided to set up the East Asia Transit Lounge Blog as a way to communicate with our friends and family around the world. JDK is originally from Oregon and I (LS) am from Zimbabwe. Our move to China came about through a great job opportunity and a desire to live and work overseas. Much of this blog is about sharing our daily lives in Beijing and our travels in and around China with our friends and family.
